More sunshine and mild temps for the weekend. Our weather pattern is providing a stretch of very pleasant weather through much of next week too. The region will be sunny and warm overall through the Saint Patrick’s Day weekend. Staying dry and even warmer for the start of next week as we welcome the official start to Spring with highs possibly in the upper 70s for several inland spots. Looks to stay dry with sun all next week. Our high temps will cool down late week with rain chances .
AIR QUALITY: Good
Overnight: Mostly clear with patchy fog in the valleys possible with lows in the low to mid 40s.
Sunday: Some am clouds around the coast then sunny skies and pleasant with highs in the low to mid 60s coastal and the mid to upper 60s to low 70s inland. Partly cloudy at night.
Monday: Partly sunny then becoming mostly sunny and mild in the afternoon with highs in the mid 60s coastal and upper 60s to mid to upper 70s inland. A couple spots in the southern Salinas valley could reach 80 degrees, not out of the question.
Extended: Temperatures staying above average next week with a stretch of dry weather. The long term forecast is still looking pretty dry. Tuesday is the first day of spring and will be sunny and mild. Cooling off late week. Rain chances increase by end of the week into the weekend. Looks to be light beneficial rain at this point in time.
