Rainy Start to Easter Weekend

WEATHER STORY
An early Saturday morning system that brought around 1”+ totals to the coastal mountains and about 0.25-0.5” to Monterey Bay cities, will continue to move its way out of the area throughout the day. As it clears, gusty conditions will follow, along with cooler, drier conditions heading into Easter Sunday. Additional rain chances follow next week.

AIR QUALITY: GOOD

Saturday: Moderate rain with gusty winds early, then decreasing clouds. Mild and breezy with highs in the upper 50s to 60s.

Overnight: Mostly clear skies, with temperatures dipping into the 30s for inland locations, upper 30s and 40s along the coast.

Easter Sunday: Dry, mostly sunny, but blustery. Coastal temps upper 50s to low 60s, inland warmer with upper 60s to mid 70s. Breezy conditions will develop in the afternoon.

Extended: We’ll warm up on Monday before a weak weather system passes by to our north. Rain will be possible from Monterey Bay northward late Monday into Tuesday. Another weather system is then possible late in the week.
