Comfortable and Sunny Tuesday
Expect another day or two of gusty northwest winds as remain sandwiched between high pressure out over the Pacific and the more active weather pattern to our east. The ridge will continue to strengthen and nudge ever so slightly east, however, which will help warm us back up close to normal by Tuesday and then above by Wednesday. Winds will ease as the ridge takes over and it looks like highs should remain above normal through Mother’s Day Weekend.

*Northwest winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and seas 6 to 11 ft expected.
*Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for severe conditions.
Tuesday: Becoming mostly sunny with only a few high clouds passing through. Gusty northwesterly onshore and up-valley winds at times. On the northside of the bay, downsloping will push temps up into the 70s—expect 60s elsewhere on the coast and 70s for most inland valleys.
Overnight: Mostly clear skies with a few patchy low clouds near the peninsula. Lows will be a touch warmer with mainly 40s inland and upper 40s to low 50s at the coast. Breezy northwesterly winds.
Wednesday: A few low clouds on the coast early, otherwise sunny and warmer yet! Coastal highs in the mid 60s to mid 70s with 70s to low 80s inland. Gusty northwesterly winds at times.
Extended: Winds continue to ease and temperatures warm on Thursday as the ridge has the strongest influence over us. We’ll have some minor ups and downs temperature-wise for coastal areas into the weekend, but highs should remain above normal. Inland areas will soar into the 80s with a few spots even touching 90ºF by the weekend.
