Bicycle stop in Capitola leads to felony arrest

CAPITOLA, CALIF. (KION-TV)- Capitola Police arrest a woman on several charges after being pulled over on her bike Sunday night.

According to officials, the woman was pulled over by police after she was found to not have lights while she was riding at night. When officers asked for her information, it was learned that the information given by the woman was her sisters.

After giving the false information, the woman also admitted that she had some narcotics. Officers found several grams of meth and fentanyl in her possession. In addition to the drugs, officers learned the woman had an outstanding arrest warrant from another county.

The woman was booked into County Jail on several charges, including possession of controlled substance and false impersonation.
