Two people in critical condition after crash on Park Avenue

CAPITOLA, Calif. (KION) Two people are in critical but stable condition after a crash in Capitola Sunday evening.

Police responded to a report of a solo vehicle crash at around 5:11 p.m. on the 600 block of Park Avenue.

Both the male driver and female passenger were taken to hospitals for treatment with major injuries.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash, but said they suspect alcohol could be a factor.
