Chilly nights, dry weather headed our way.

The weather pattern on the Central Coast will turn dry Sunday and continue into early next week, after the tail end of several weather systems moves through the area Saturday night. Overnight lows will become quite chilly, mostly in the low to mid 40s along the coast, with widespread 30s in the coastal valleys. Dry, mild afternoons should continue through Tuesday, before a stronger system approaches mid-week.

Overnight: Cloudy and cooler with a chance of rain. Accumulations will be light. Fog possible in the valleys.

Sunday: Partly Cloudy. Highs in the mid and upper 50s. Northwest winds 10-to mph.
 
Extended: Overnight lows will be chilly Sunday-Tuesday, with seasonable daytime highs. Rain returns mid-week.

The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for December 21st – 27th calls for the likelihood of ABOVE normal temperatures and ABOVE normal precipitation.
