Sun For Tuesday, the More Rain

A cloudy and damp morning gives way tosome sunshine and dry conditions for our Tuesday. Weak high pressure nudges in from the south which will keep skies partly cloudy, but at the surface, cooler northwesterly winds will keep highs below normal. The next storm system will ride over the ridge to our west and slide through our area on Wednesday bringing light to moderate rain. The remainder of the week looks to stay dry so far and lasting into the weekend. Warming trend for early next week with 70s back in the forecast.

AIR QUALITY: Good

Today: Partly cloudy and slightly cool with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Gusty northwest winds at times.

Tonight: Becoming mostly cloudy, with scattered rain showers developing after 9 pm. Lows in the low to mid 40s inland and upper 40s to 50 degrees coastal.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with light to moderate rain during the afternoon and into the evening. Breezy. Cooler, with highs in the upper 50s.

Extended: Showers may linger into Thursday morning, then we’re likely to dry through the weekend with the ridge building in—high clouds will continue to stream in, though, keeping temperatures subdued for a few days, but we’ll likely see highs in the 60s-70s out of the weekend. The first week of February is trending wet!
