Over 30,000 customers without power on the Central Coast: PG&E

CENTRAL COAST, Calif. (KION) – UPDATE ON FEB. 4, 2024 AT 11:19 AM- PG&E said that over 30,000 customers on the Central Coast are without power due to the winter storm.

PG&E said that 20,666 customers in Monterey County are without power and 12,347 customers are currently without power in Santa Cruz County.

There are also 24 customers without power as well in San Benito County.

Close to 8,000 customers are without power in the Watsonville and Pajaro areas, according to PG&E. The utility says the cause is weather related. There is no estimated time on when power could be restored. Heavy winds and rain are expected to continue in that area through Sunday.
