Offshore flow will warm temperatures through midweek, ahead of another system that could produce more rainfall over the weekend.

… for the Diablo Range in Santa Clara County until 4AM Tuesday.
….for the Santa Cruz Mountains until 9AM Monday

Northerly winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Fuels are at record dry levels. Use extreme caution with ignition sources and any outdoor burning.
 
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.



Monday:
 Sunny and warmer, with highs in the 60s. Gusty at times.

Overnight: Mostly clear skies, with patchy coastal clouds possible. Lows will be in the 30s to 40s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny skies, with a few low clouds possible near the coast. Highs will be warmer with 60s to low 70s on the coast and 70s inland.

Extended: Highs will warm up through midweek, with seasonable weather by Friday. Rain chances return for the weekend.


The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for March 7th-13th calls for the likelihood of BELOW normal temperatures and ABOVE normal precipitation.
