SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION) The Santa Cruz Warriors said they are partnering with Something Inked on a project benefiting the Community Foundation Santa Cruz County's COVID-19 Local Response Fund.

They said they are making limited-edition t-shirts that say "Sea Dubs Together, and proceeds will go to the fund.

“We are excited to work with our partner, Something Inked, to build this t-shirt design and slogan and are hopeful that through the sale of the t-shirts we raise much-needed funds for the Community Foundation Santa Cruz County COVID-19 Local Response Fund,”  said Santa Cruz Warriors President, Chris Murphy. “Santa Cruz County is a tight-knit community where we stay connected, we help each other, and we care about our neighbor. Sea Dubs Together is a way we can show unity as a community while raising money to help those in need.”

The t-shirts, which are available through May 29, come in men's, women's and youth sizes and are selling for $20. The Warriors said Something Inked is covering production expenses, and all net proceeds will go to the response fund.

Shirts are available online only here.

The team's season is suspended until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Community Foundation for Santa Cruz County said it has awarded more than $5.2 million so far. More than $4.2 million is in donor-advised grants to local, regional and national efforts.
