Sinkhole opens up in Prunedale

PRUNEDALE, Calif. (KION-TV)- Monterey County wants to remind people that sinkholes can appear long after storms have passed.

A sinkhole appeared Monday on Coker Road near Pesante Road.

The county said steel plates are being placed over the gap now, and repairs will start Tuesday.
