Mostly Sunny, Dry, and Gusty Monday

Your forecast for Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and southern Santa Clara Counties…

Windy, dry, and mostly sunny conditions will persist on Monday. A trough of low pressure currently moving to the east is creating those stronger gusts which will once again pick up Monday afternoon. Troughing will linger over the coast through mid-week. But, with the stronger low gone, winds will ease. However, with the lingering troughing, high temperatures are likely to stay seasonable to slightly through Thursday. In addition, a stronger onshore flow will bring coastal clouds and chance of morning drizzle back to the forecast by Wednesday. Then things look to warm up again heading into the weekend. Extended forecast below.
