Warmer and Sunnier Tuesday
Sunglasses and sunscreen weather! High pressure continues to slowly build into the region from the west which will maintain the current warming trend. North-northwest winds will still be present Tuesday but will be in the process of easing. Temperatures peak at the coast Wednesday and for some inland areas, especially in the south, will see their highest readings Thursday. We’ll cool down by the end of the week before a chance of rain this weekend. Until then, take advantage of the nice weather... enjoy lunch outdoors, go for a nice walk/ run, hike, bike ride, or head to your local beach for a little downtime.
AIR QUALITY: Good
Tuesday: Sunny and warm with widespread 60s-70s and a few inland areas approaching 80ºF. Breezy northwesterly onshore and up valley winds at times, gusty in the valleys come afternoon.
Overnight: Mostly clear with a few low clouds possible at the coast. Lows will be warmer, in the 40s to low 50s at the coast, mainly 40s inland. Light northwest wind.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny with some high clouds passing through. Warmer yet with coastal highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s and widespread 70s to mid 80s inland. Breezy northwesterly onshore and up valley winds in the afternoon and early evening.
Extended: We’ll begin to cool a bit on the coast Thursday with a few low clouds and a stronger sea breeze possible. Some southern areas will see their hottest temperatures of the week, with mid 80s possible. A trough will then dig down the coast for the end of the week with much cooler temperatures, stronger winds, and the potential for some rain. Saturday is looking like the big day for wind & rain with showers lingering to Sunday. Keep an eye on the forecast as there will likely be changes as we head through the week.
