Mild Tuesday Morning, Rain Returns Late
Our next weather system will be here late in the day on Tuesday. Ahead of it, expect the stream of high cloudcover to continue! Most areas will stay dry until Tuesday afternoon with the chance of isolated, light showers beginning to increase. It’s not impossible for you to see something earlier, you’ll just have to be lucky! Into the evening, light to briefly moderate rain will spread around the bay and then become more scattered to isolated as it heads inland into early Wednesday morning. Some drizzle/sprinkles may linger into the Wednesday morning commute, but dry conditions will then return through Thursday.
AIR QUALITY: Good
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with an isolated shower possible early in the day. Highs in the upper 50s to low 60s—a few mid 60s in the south. Light to moderate rain moves in around the bay late.
Overnight: Mostly cloudy with lingering showers through the morning hours. Lows will be warm, with mainly 40s to low 50s. A sprinkle or two/ drizzle possible near dawn along with areas of patchy fog.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy to start but gradually clearing through the afternoon. Slightly warmer with highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s.
Extended: Temperatures warm above normal on Thursday under mostly sunny skies. We’ll then enter a period of more active weather starting on Friday. The Friday system, which will arrive late in the day, will have moderate rain and gusty southerly winds. The next system arrives late Saturday into Sunday with another following on Monday. It’s hard to know exactly what to expect from these additional systems yet, so stay tuned .
