Warmer, Dryer Week
High pressure to our south will keep
rain to the north throughout the workweek. The tail end of weather systems will
brush past, however, pushing a few clouds in and keeping northwest winds in
place. High temperatures will be warmer than last week, but still at or
slightly below normal for this time of year. Rain will return this weekend and
the pattern looks to remain more active into early next week.
Overnight: Mostly clear with patchy valley
fog. Lows in the 40s on the coast, upper 30s to low 40s inland.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy (more clouds in the
north than in the south). Mild, with coastal highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s
and 60s to low 70s inland. Winds pick up in the afternoon for all areas, but
may get gusty on the exposed coast.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny but a bit
cooler with northwest winds. Winds could get gusty on the exposed coast. High
sin the upper 50s to low 60s on the coast and 60s to around 70ºF inland.
Extended: Northwest winds
will continue into Friday under mostly sunny skies. Highs will be seasonable to
slightly cool … mainly 60s to around 70ºF. The weather pattern will become more
active this weekend with daily rain chances Saturday through Tuesday.
The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for April 7th – 13th
calls
for the likelihood of BELOW normal temperatures and ABOVE
normal precipitation.
