Rain Returns Mid-Week
Weak high pressure will keep the
weather dry on Tuesday but a storm approaching from the west will push high
clouds into the region along with initiating southerly winds. The next weather
system will push a cold front through in the early morning hours on Wednesday
with gusty winds and brief downpours possible. Weak high pressure returns for
the rest of the week with another storm system this weekend.
Overnight: Passing high clouds. Cool, but
not quite as cold as Monday morning. Coastal lows in the low to mid 40s with
30s inland.
Tuesday: Passing high clouds, thickening late. Breezy southerly
winds at times. Highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s.
Wednesday: Rain arrives just past
midnight with gusty winds and brief downpours. Showers may last through the morning
commute. Becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers in the afternoon. Breezy
at times with highs in the 50s.
Extended: Patchy morning fog Thursday, then mostly sunny, dry weather
Thursday-Friday with slightly cool to seasonable temperatures. The next storm
system arrives on Saturday—probably late in the day with wind & rain.
Showers could linger into Sunday/Monday.
