Warm & Dry

Warm weather will persist for the next few days as high pressure dominates West Coast weather. Expect (relatively) mild mornings and warm afternoons though the end of the week. Rain is only but a dream.

AIR QUALITY: Good to Moderate

Overnight: Mostly clear with a few high clouds passing through and some low clouds along the Big Sur Coast. Lows in the 40s on the coast and mid-30s to mid-40s inland.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a few high clouds passing through. Coastal highs in the mid-60s to low 70s with upper 60s to mid-70s inland. Light winds.

Wednesday: Sunny and warm with coastal highs in the mid-60s to low 70s and upper 60s to mid-70s inland. Light winds.

Extended:
High pressure will continue to dominate through the end of the week, though the blocking pattern will change slightly. By the weekend, a weather system may slide over the ridge and impacts us from the “back door” as it moves into the Great Basin. While rain is not expected, it may stir up the winds a bit and push them offshore. Latest timeline would be Sunday/Monday, also ushering in a cooler air mass (and probably dryer with cold mornings to follow). Dry conditions expected to continue locally through at least the 13th but perhaps even longer.
