Temperatures Peak Wednesday

Expect the warmest temperatures of the week on Wednesday! A ridge of high pressure will be centered over the region with highs some 5-15ºF above normal. The ridge will move to the east on Thursday allowing for deeper onshore flow to bring cooler air and clouds to the coast. We’ll double down on the coastal cool & cloudy on Friday before leveling out to seasonable weather this weekend. Some drizzle may be possible out of the low clouds, but for the first time in a while, a dry weekend is expected.

AIR QUALITY: Good

Overnight: Mostly clear with a few passing high clouds. Patchy fog possible in low, damp areas. Lows in the 40s to around 50ºF.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a few more high clouds, and even warmer with coastal highs in the mid 60s to mid 70s and widespread 70s to low 80s inland. Breezy northwesterly onshore winds late in the day.

Thursday: Cooler with increasing clouds. Coastal highs in the 60s to around 70ºF and upper 60s to around 80ºF inland. Low clouds/fog possible on the coast late.

Extended: Temperatures will continue to dip on Friday with low clouds expected on the coast. We’ll warm back up into the weekend. The pattern will remain somewhat progressive into the next week with less-amplified troughs and ridges passing which should keep temperatures fairly close to normal. The next chance of rain will likely hold off until around April 26th.
