Marina Police looking for attempted armed robbery suspect last seen on Lake Drive

MARINA, Calif. (KION-TV)- Marina Police said that they are looking for a man wanted for attempted armed robbery Saturday on the 3100 block of Lake Drive.

The victim said that a man approached her from behind, armed with a knife. She then yelled for help and this caused the suspect to run away on foot.

Police said the victim suffered a minor, non-life-threatening injury during this incident.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic or White male, in his late teens to early 20s. He is about 5'04 to 5'07 with a medium build. He was seen wearing a black beanie and light-colored clothing and was last seen running northbound on Lake Drive toward Reservation Road.

Police are asking residents in the area for any surveillance video they may have of the crime.
