Parents raise concerns about school safety protocols and ventilation systems

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION) With grades K-6 returning for in-person classes across the Central Coast, parents are raising concerns about safety protocols and efficacy of ventilation systems.

Parents in in underserved communities worry some schools may not be able to afford ventilation systems and air purifiers like other schools.

KION'S Jocelyn Ortega will have more from school officials on COVID-19 safety plans tonight at 5 and 6 p.m.
