San Lorenzo Valley Water District

BROOKDALE, Calif. (KION - TV) The San Lorenzo Valley Water District announced today that water in the Brookdale area will be off until 3 p.m. today. The shut-off began at 10 a.m. to accommodate relocating a water main on Highway 9 for upcoming Caltrans work.

The district is asking residents to close all faucets for the duration of the shut-off, as well as expect the water to be slightly discolored once it is turned back on. As a precaution, the district is recommending that water not be consumed until it returns to a pure state.

The San Lorenzo Valley Water District asks residents to contact them at 831.338.2153 if water hasn't been turned back on within the posted time or if water hasn't cleared up within a reasonable amount of time.
