Gilroy Police looking for suspect involved in March shooting

GILROY, Calif. (KION-TV)- Gilroy Police is looking for a male suspect who allegedly shot at a person in a parking lot of a grocery store.

Officers said that the shooting happened on March 31 around 4:56 p.m. at the parking lot of Nob Hill on the 700 block of First Street.

Investigators said the victim and the suspect got into a verbal confrontation which lead to the male suspect producing a gun and shooting at the victim.

Police said the victim was struck by gunfire and was treated at a local hospital.

KION did reach out to Gilroy Police to receive an update on the victim and we are waiting to hear back.
