Two riders injured after crashing their motorcycle into a parked car in Salinas, police say

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV)- Salinas Police said that two riders suffered major injuries after a solo motorcycle crash on Sunday night.

Officers said that the crash occurred on the 400 block of Pueblo Drive around 9:07 p.m.

Investigators said that two people were on the motorcycle and they crashed into a parked car on Pueblo Drive.

Police said that both riders were taken to a local hospital. Officers said that speed was the main cause of the crash.

A Salinas Police commander told KION that the rider will not face any arrests since it was a speed infraction.
