Greenfield Police arrest man for sexual abuse among other charges

GREENFIELD, CALIF. (KION-TV)- Greenfield Police arrested a man after three agencies collaborated and conducted a thorough investigation from a sexual abuse report from two juveniles.

Last Thursday on March 14th, two juveniles came forward to police to report that 38-year-old Eleuterio Ortiz had committed sexual abuse. After getting their reports, Greenfield Police collaborated with Homeland Security Investigations and the Soledad Police Department to conduct a thorough investigation.

After the thorough investigation, officers identified a third victim of Ortiz. All three agencies worked together to locate and arrest him without any issue.

Ortiz is currently being held at the Monterey County Jail on multiple charges, including child molestation and rape.
