Capitola man arrested for allegedly robbing a bank

CAPITOLA, Calif. (KION-TV)- On Tuesday morning, Capitola Police arrested a 45-year-old man who allegedly robbed a Comerica Bank on March 1.

Officers said they were dispatched to a reported bank robbery at the Comerica Bank branch on the 1900 block of 41st Avenue.

Police later identified the suspect as 45-year-old Travis Antonio Sanchez of Capitola. Sanchez was later arrested at his home in Capitola.

Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail on robbery charges.

A Santa Cruz County Superior Court judge granted a "no-bail order," against Sanchez per police.

Capitola Police said they are working with another local law enforcement agency and are looking for any additional information regarding this bank robbery.
