Teen robbery suspect arrested in Morgan Hill, firearm and narcotics found

MORGAN HILL, Calif. (KION-TV)- Morgan Hill Police said a 16-year-old was arrested Thursday for a robbery that was reported at a Target located at 1061 Cochrane Road.

Police responded at 7:46 p.m. after reports of a young person walking away from loss prevention without paying for several items on Monday.

Thursday Morgan Hill Police spotted the suspect in the passenger side of a vehicle. A traffic stop was initiated and the suspect was taken into custody, said police.

Police then served a warrant on the teen's home and found stolen items, a firearm, and narcotics said police. they was booked into Santa Clara Juvenile Hall for robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of brass knuckles.
