Closure near Rocky Creek Bridge officially reopens

BIG SUR, CALIF. (KION-TV)- The area on Highway 1 near the Rocky Creek slip out is officially back open to all travelers.

According to Cal Trans, a temporary traffic system was activated to allow 24/7 access to all travelers. People will be able to travel 40 miles south of Monterey, but a full closure is still in effect one mile south of Esalen.
