Gusty Monterey County winds force closure of Jacks Peak Park

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Jacks Peak Park will be closed Saturday because of gusty winds in Monterey County.

The county said the park will reopen the following day, April 17, in case anyone hopes to do some hiking for Easter Sunday.

Hours for the park in the month of April normally run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
