PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. (KION) A Monterey Peninsula-based tour company has converted its vans to provide a delivery service to local restaurants, grocery stores and residents.

CaliFunDay Tours and Transportation has cleared out their vans to make space for deliveries.

CEO, Ali Momeni, said his team is available to deliver food and groceries to seniors or anyone in the community that may need help. "We want to help out in any way that is possible. We'll use gloves, masks and disinfectant the vehicle. We have a lot of space," said Momeni.

CaliFunDay typically provides scenic tours around the Monterey Peninsula, Carmel Valley and Big Sur. Tours have been put on hold during the state mandated stay-at-home order.

Momeni hopes their efforts will keep more people at home and slow the spread of COVID-19.

Those interested in CaliFunDay's services can call 800-301-4042 or email Rides@CaliFunDay.com.
