Hollister Police Department makes another gun related arrest

HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION) Officers with the Hollister Police Department made yet another gun related arrest Saturday.

It is the fourth gun related arrest officers working the weekend graveyard shift have made in the last three weeks, and the weapon is the fourth "ghost" gun to be confiscated in the same time frame. A ghost gun does not have a serial number and is therefore untraceable.

Officers impounded the gun from a juvenile on searchable probation during a traffic stop. It was loaded.

That juvenile was arrested for firearms charges and violating probation.
