USGS: 3.8 magnitude earthquake hits near San Juan Bautista

SAN JUAN BAUTISTA, Calif. (KION-TV) Thursday morning at 9:26 a.m., an earthquake registering 3.8 shook parts of the Central Coast.

The quake's epicenter was 2 miles south of San Juan Bautista, with a depth of 2.4 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

There have been reports of people feeling the quake in Salinas.
