Salinas Girl Scouts donate, plant strawberry trees in local parks

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) The City of Salinas said local Girl Scouts donated and planted strawberry trees in parks around the city earlier this weekend.

Troop 35708 donated the 10 trees and volunteered to plant them on Monday, according to the City.

You can see them in these locations:

  • Maple Park - 2 trees 
  • Claremont Park - 2 trees 
  • Hartnell Park -3 trees 
  • Williams Ranch Park - 1 tree 
  • Soberanes Park - 2 trees
