Monterey newborns sent home in Christmas stockings

MONTEREY, Calif. (KION) The Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula is carrying on a tradition this December.

Newborn babies are being sent home in Christmas stockings made by Auxiliary members.

The members have been making stockings for the babies for more than 30 years, according to the hospital.
