Structure fire on Hilby reportedly started by “suspicious activities”

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION) Seaside firefighters responded to a structure fire on Hilby Avenue Monday night, and investigators believe it was started due to "suspicious activities" inside.

The fire was in a vacant house next to the Oldemeyer Center.

Crews said a shed and fence were damaged, but there were no injuries.
