Watsonville woman arrested on attempted murder charges in connection to stabbing

WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION) A suspect has been arrested in connection to an attempted murder in Watsonville.

41-year-old Dalilah Yasin was arrested on suspicion of stabbing a 31-year-old woman multiple times. Officers arrested her after stopping a car on W. Beach Street when she was seen leaving her home.

Police said the stabbing happened near Lynbrook Court and Vic Rugh Lane Sunday night. The victim was taken to a trauma center for treatment and was later released.

Yasin was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail on attempted murder charges.
