Salinas elementary school district to offer free breakfast, lunch to students for 4 years

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) The Salinas City Elementary School District announced that it has been approved to serve free breakfast and lunch to enrolled students at sites under the National School Lunch/School Breakfast Programs Community Eligibility Provision.

The schools included are:

  • Boronda Meadows
  • El Gabilan
  • Henry F. Kammann
  • Loma Vista
  • Los Padres
  • Monterey Park
  • Natividad
  • Roosevelt
  • Sherwood
  • University Park
  • Boronda DIAS
  • Laurel Wood
  • Lincoln
  • Mission Park

The free meals have been approved for four school years, 2020-2024.
