Fatal motorcycle crash on Highway 9
FELTON, Calif. (KION)
One person was killed in a crash that involved a motorcycle on Highway 9 in Felton, Monday afternoon, according to CHP.
The Felton Fire Department in a Facebook post says the motorcyclist crashed into a guard rail.
The crash happened at around 5 p.m. and shut down Highway 9 in both directions near Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park.
The department says two witnesses performed CPR on the victim until Felton firefighters arrived on the scene.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
