Monterey woman accused of stabbing domestic partner

MONTEREY, Calif. (KION) A Monterey woman is facing attempted murder charges in connection to a domestic violence-related stabbing.

Police responded to the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula at around 5:30 Wednesday morning for a report of a person who was stabbed.

Before police got there, the victim was taken to another hospital, but is expected to survive.

Police investigated the stabbing and arrested 29-year-old Lillian Marie Perry, who they said is in a "domestic relationship" with the victim.

Perry was booked into the Monterey County Jail and charged with attempted homicide.
