Sheriff’s Office investigating Felton vehicle break-ins

FELTON, Calif. (KION) The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office is investigating reports of several vehicle break-ins early Thursday morning in Felton.

They happened in the area of Valley Drive and Plateau Drive, and while deputies were investigating, they saw a car possibly matching the description of the suspect's car.

The Sheriff's Office said deputies tried to stop the car, but it led them on a low-speed pursuit. The driver and passenger were arrested on Gail Drive and are facing charges for drugs, warrants, probation violations and evading law enforcement.

The vehicle burglaries are still under investigation.
