Salinas police: Man found with stolen vehicle arrested on drug charges

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) A man was arrested early Tuesday morning after he was found in a stolen vehicle, according to police.

Officers saw a stolen vehicle with someone inside in the parking lot at Natividad Creek Park and conducted a high-risk stop.

Officers arrested 37-year-old Guadalupe Aguirre Espinoza. They said he was on probation and had meth and drug paraphernalia with him.

Espinoza was booked into the Monterey County Jail for possession of a stolen vehicle, several drug charges and probation violation.
