Rain Lingers
The storm system that brought rain
and wind to the region this weekend will linger early this week. It will throw
a few more showers at us on Tuesday and then a part of the parent circulation
will move by to our south Wednesday with additional rainfall. We’ll then get a
break before a less-wet, but rainy and windy storm arrives by the end of the
week.
Overnight: Partly to mostly cloudy with isolated showers, mainly
nearer the coast. Lows in the low 50s on the coast with mid 40s to low 50s
inland.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy and warmer with isolated showers. Highs in
the upper 50s to mid 60s.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with some
light to moderate rain early (most likely the farther south you go). Highs in
the upper 50s to 60s.
Extended: We’ll get a break from the rain on Thursday before the
next system arrives on Friday. It is likely to have moderate to briefly heavy
rain and gusty winds. Showers linger into Friday before dryer weather Sunday
and out of the weekend. Temperatures will remain seasonable.
The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for December 10th - 16th
calls for the likelihood of ABOVE normal temperatures and near
normal precipitation.
