Power fully restored in Santa Cruz County

Power has been fully restored in Santa Cruz County after a Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) issued an outage that left 37,000 Santa Cruz County residents without power.

PG&E confirmed that power was fully restored around 4 p.m. Saturday.

99.5% of power has been restored in the 34 counties affected by the outage, which began Wednesday.

There were at least 50 instances of weather related damage to PG&E structures discovered during the outage.
