K9 Gets body armor donated

The Salinas Police Department says K9 Keno has received a bullet and stab protective vest. They say the armor was donated by Massachussets based non-profit Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

Keno’s vest was sponsored by a fundraiser hosted by Aubrey Eyer of Rancho Mirage, CA. “Gifted by Denise and Aubrey” is embroidered on the vest.

Salinas Police say the donation to provide a protective vest for law enforcement is $950.00. Each vest has a value between $1,744 – $2,283.
