Dominican Hospital CNA pleads not guilty to sexual assault charges
A Certified Nursing Assistant with Dominican Hospital pleaded not guilty to sexual assault charges on Wednesday. His bail is set at $100,000.
46-year-old Peter Francis Dunne is facing charges that include assault with intent to rape, sexual assault with force and oral copulation by force. Investigators said he assaulted a female patient in late March while he was working in the emergency department.
Dominican Hospital said the allegations against Dunne are extremely distressing, and he has been placed on administrative leave.
Dunne’s arraignment has been continued to September 11.
