Woman killed by train in Salinas
A woman was hit and killed by a train in Salinas, Friday afternoon.
The Salinas Police Department tells KION that she was hit while walking on the tracks near the Main Street overpass at around 1:20 p.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman has not yet been identified.
Union Pacific is handling the investigation.
