King City man dead after drowning in Lake Nacimiento
A King City man is dead after drowning at a lake in San Luis Obispo County, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials tell our sister station KCOY in Santa Maria that they identified the victim as 44-year-old Armando Loa Ramos.
They got the call around 11:40 a.m. Sunday of a possible drowning at Lake Nacimiento near an area known as Sandy Point. The Sheriff’s Dive Team located the victim in about 15 feet of water at about 2:10 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing. No further information at this time.
