Suspect found in drain pipe following rollover accident
A man is in custody after allegedly fleeing from officers following a vehicle rollover accident on Tustin Road, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office says Christopher Anthony Young fled through the brush to Highway 101 and Crazy Horse Canyon Road after his car overturned.
A CHP helicopter, along with multiple deputies and CHP officers, attempted to locate the suspect.
A Sheriff’s Office K9 found Young hiding in a drainage culvert, and he was taken into custody for multiple felony warrants.
