Santa Cruz Police searching for stabbing suspect in Seabright neighborhood

Police in Santa Cruz are investigating a stabbing that happened in the Seabright neighborhood around Logan Street Tuesday night.

At around 8:45 a person was smoking a cigarette outside their house when they were stabbed three times. The victim was not able to see who stabbed them or where that person went.

The victim was taken to a Bay Area hospital, but has been released.

Police are now looking for the person who stabbed them. Detectives say they have processed the scene and are following up on leads, but they have also increased patrols in that area.
