Hollister Independence Rally begins Friday
The Hollister Independence Rally is returning this year for its 70th anniversary.
The epicenter of the rally will be on San Benito Street in downtown Hollister. It features motorcycles, live music, food and more.
The rally begins Friday June 30 and will end July 2.
Every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., San Benito Street will only be open to motorcycles. They must be cleared off the street by 1 a.m except on July 2 when motorcycles have to be cleared by 5 p.m. The street will be open to traffic at 6 p.m.
On Thursday June 29, San Benito Street between South Street and Fourth Street will be closed beginning at 10 p.m. to allow crews to setup for the rally, according to the Hollister Police Department.
