Undefeated Golden State Warriors make history

The Warriors’ 16-0 start beats the 15-0 start set by the Washington Capitols in 1948/1949 and tied by the Houston Rockets in 1993/1994.

The undefeated team, and defending NBA champions, will take on the Los Angelers Lakers Tuesday night in Oakland.
With a chance to watch history unfold, ticket prices are a bit higher for tonight’s game. Tickets in the upper sections are selling for at least $264; courtside seats at $25,264, according to KPIX.
The Warriors beat the Denver Nuggets Sunday, tying the record for best-ever start. If they beat the Lakers Tuesday, they could be going for 18 straight wins.
